Lafogl 360°
Life on the Lafogl Farm is a full experience. We offer our guests many different types of activities and opportunities all year round.

Upon request and availability, you can buy and taste products from the Rier’s family vineyards, garden, and fields.
-
Upon request the guests can help the staff take care of the animals are on the farm. Our farm is not a petting zoo. However, both children and adults can visit the animals under Tabea’s supervision.
-
There are at least two restaurants in walking distance (3 min walk) from the farm. In the towns of Seis/Siusi and Kastelruth/Castelrotto you can find supermarkets, bakeries, butchers’, and anything else you could need to become a celebrity chef in your vacation apartment.
From the Lafogl farm the cities of Brixen/Bressanone and Bozen/Bolzano can both be reached by bus or by car in about 30 min. -
The farm is at the foot of the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi and in just a few minutes car or bus ride you will be at the largest and most famous European plateau. The hiking trails and the ski slopes are basically never-ending, and the landscape is unprecedented.
To make sure our guests don’t have to deal with the stress of traffic and parking, there is a Südtirol/Alto Adige Guest Pass available. It can be used for the whole extent of your stay and it allows you to take any means of local public transportation free of charge.
Accessing the ski facilities is made even more simple if you rent a locker for your skiing equipment at the bottom station. You can then get there easily from the Farm by bus.

Not only the winter around the Lafogl Hof is worth experiencing. Hiking and biking in summer, as well as in spring and autumn are guaranteed to bring unique views and unforgettable moments. Directly in front of the house there are some paths that lead to the surrounding villages, to the Alpe di Siusi or to proud peaks of the Dolomites.
The seasons can be observed particularly well from the farm. In spring, when there is still snow on the mountains, it is already thawing in St. Oswald near Castelrotto and the first little flowers are poking out of the fields.
The golden autumn, seen from the balcony of the vacation apartments, is a very special spectacle of nature, which brings not only colorful leaves, but also delicious delicacies in the tradition of the Eisack Valley. -
The highlight of our Fall cuisine is called “Törggelen”, a tradition in which you feel the depth of the farming traditions of the territory. As a thank you for the year’s harvest, chestnuts, whine, and other typical foods are prepared during this time of year in the nearby “Buschenschänken” (farmhouse Inns).
